East Side Gallery in Berlin

On our last day in Berlin, we took the U-Bahn over to a more distant section of the wall – The East Side Gallery. You can easily spend an hour or more here, and it gets crowded with the Safari tours that come through. The website on which I originally read about the gallery noted that its surroundings were relatively bleak and deserted, which might give visitors a unique perspective on what it was like before the wall came down.
